Chrysler has revealed that 2016 is going to be the last year for the Chrysler Town & Country, which has been diligently transporting families since 1990. Many of us recall growing up in the back seat of those old wood-paneled vans, which revolutionized the way families got around.

It had seating and storage space for everybody, and also a touch of elegance and convenience which prompted many empty-nesters to continue driving the Town & Country long after the kids had left for college.

Forget nostalgia.

The new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is looking even better than its predecessor.

While there are a lot of factors that go into forging a vehicle's identity, there are some common threads amongst our Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM lineup. One of them involves their engine technology, which boasts some pretty legendary names. Today, we're going to talk about some of them.

This 1995 Jeep Wrangler has been slightly modified, with a lifted suspension and massive wheels. It was the top of the line at the time it was built. It looks mean and ready to take on the trails.

Can this low-tech classic take on the brand new 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

Simply put, no. It can't.

Though the Wrangler is lighter and more maneuverable than the Wrangler Unlimited, and has larger wheels, it simply lacks those 20 years of advancement.
